Would you like to share a studio with me?

Me and my co-locataire Amélie Brindamour are looking for a third artist to share our studio at Complexe Lachine in St Henri.

Sadly our long-term studio-mate Jamie Macauley is moving out. I’ve been with Jamie for about 5 years now – across two studios – and I’m sad to see him go. Hopefully the fact he put up with me for so long can act as some sort of testimony.

We’d like to find someone professional, laid back, creative and longterm commitment (our current lease is up till Oct 2026, and I intend to renew).

It’s steep rent for sure, but it’s well managed (me and Jamie were paying almost as much for a flooded basement previously). I really enjoy being here. We each have 1/3 each, plus we share a bit of storage (plinth / ladder / bookshelf) and also a sink and microves etc. It’s a lovely space, all throughout the year. To be fair, Jamie’s spot is the nicest in the studio, right across the window, so it would really benefit an artist who uses daylight (eg painter / photographer).
