I’m coming to the UK in Auguest to present a new version of my ‘Chroma Culture‘ work as part of the Liverpool Independents Biennial. The event – Post Analogue Labyrinth VI – is curated by Markus Soukup, and wil feature several other artists films including work by Katriona Beales, Shelley Theodore, Emma Tod, Davey Whitcraft, Chiz Turnross, Collette Whittington and Markus Soukup. The event will be held at the BIRCH Studio & Gallery in Birkenhead.

Chroma Culture evolved from the Video Culture works, using coloured laser-pens and video feedback systems to create organic forms in real-time. The work is performative by nature, and inherently unstable depending on the environment, so we’ll see how it goes. This version will be using a sound design created by Tom Rea Smith, though I should also give a shout out to fellow sound-collaborator Raz Ullah who also help develop other iterations of the work.
